Public Parks Inquiry

Communities and Local Government Committee
Inquiry into public parks

Thank you for being one of the more than 13,000 people who took part in the House of Commons Communities and Local Government Committee’s inquiry into public parks by filling out our survey.

We’re analysing the survey responses at the moment, and will use the results to help inform our inquiry. We’ll be publishing the survey results in due course.

In the meantime, if you want to see what other people have been saying about their parks, you can:

·         Read some of the nearly 400 written evidence submissions

·         Scroll through the comments, photos and videos people have been sharing on our #myparkmatters hashtag

Next we will hold oral evidence sessions in Westminster over the next few months. the first one will be on Monday 24 October. All of the oral evidence sessions will be broadcast live on, and then available to watch on demand. We will also publish transcripts of each oral evidence session on our website.

We will email you again to let you know when the other oral evidence sessions will be held. You can also keep up to date with the inquiry by following us on Twitter at @CommonsCLG.

After we have finished taking oral evidence, we will carefully consider all of the written and oral evidence we have received, including the survey responses. We will then prepare and publish a report setting out our conclusions and making recommendations to the Government.
